SINOPSIS 
Por si no fuera suficiente con Doctor Who, el excelso Steven Moffat y su amigo y frecuente colaborador Mark Gatiss —famoso por The League of Gentlemen— han encontrado tiempo para preparar para la BBC una adaptación moderna del detective por antonomasia y, para muchos, incluso el británico por antonomasia, Sherlock Holmes. Con moderna no queremos decir hecha hoy en día —que también, pero no es eso— sino ambientada en el Londres moderno. 
Estos tres nuevos episodios estarán basados en las clásicas historias A Scandal in Bohemia, The Hound of the Baskervilles y The Final Problem, y llevarán los títulos A Scandal in Belgravia, The Hounds of Baskerville y The Reichenbach Fall.Además de los regresos de Benedict Cumberbatch como Sherlock Holmes y Martin Freeman como el Doctor John Watson, esta nueva temporada también contará con Lara Pulver como Irene Adler y Russell Tovey (Being Human) en un nuevo personaje.
